Truck camper turnbuckles ready for the Australian outback
The Australian outback isn’t to be trifled with when it comes to how you choose to secure your truck camper to your truck. As a world-renowned manufacturer of truck camper turnbuckles, Torklift International is ready to help you find your next truck camping adventure with our Derringer Handles that can turn any old-fashioned turnbuckle system into a quick disconnect lever action turnbuckle.
Here's how they work:
If you have old-style chain-mounted turnbuckles on your truck camper, you know that tightening and loosing the turnbuckles can be a frustrating chore. In many cases, achieving the proper amount of tightness on the turnbuckles requires that you twist the turnbuckles by hand until they won't go any further, and then reach for a lever to finish off the job. This process is much harder and time consuming than it needs to be. That's where Torklift's Derringer Handles come into play.
The Derringer Handle's galvanized eye allows you to connect to any type of turnbuckle rigging you currently use, such as a chain. Our Derringer Handles can also become a more permanent addition to your turnbuckles if they are the standard 13mm (½") threaded rod type of common truck camper turnbuckles. Simply cut the hook off of your 13mm (½") rod and thread the Derringer Handle into place using the supplied fasteners included in the Derringer kit.
The Derringer Handles are also lockable allowing you to protect your investment. Locks are sold separately.
Once the Derringer Handles are installed, connecting and disconnecting is as easy as lifting or closing the Derringer handle – no more of the twisting and wrenching from old-style turnbuckles is required.
If you're ready to upgrade your truck camper turnbuckle system to one that allows you to engage and disengage your turnbuckles with ease, take a look at Torklift International Derringer Handles
